Founder Jerneja Kamnikar founded Vivo catering in 1993 in response to the lack of catering companies in the south-eastern part of Europe. With catering culinary stories, they take care of the promotion of Slovenia both at home and abroad. They have managed to become a brand with a compelling identity capital. In Slovenia, Vivo has helped shape the meetings industry, together with various associations such as AmCham Slovenia, Business Club, Manager Association, FAM Business Club, Convention Bureau. He is also an active member of TGZS, GZS and OZS and helps to formulate a strategy for the development of the catering services industry in Slovenia. Throughout its activities, Vivo catering participates in banquets for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and embassies in Slovenia and abroad. In 2021, Vivo is oficcial selected catering supplier in the receptions at the highest level of Slovenia's presidency of the European Community. Together with partners SPIRIT and STO, the Slovenian Convention Bureau and socitey for tourism in Slovenia, Vivo helped create events for promotion of Slovenia. Vivo has taken care of a large number of distinguished international guests like The Queen of England, Queen Elisabeth II., former president of USA Bill Clinton, actress Monica Bellucci, TV chef Rudolph Van Veen, actor Kevin Costner, with young chefs and Michelin chef has so-create Pop Up event for famous person. Vivo delivers its catering services to other parts of Europe, such as Croatia, Belgium, Italy, Great Britain, Germany, Switzerland,… Vivo catering was among the first in Slovenia, with organic certificate and certificate for the preparation of traditional dishes such as; Bela krajina pogača and Slovenska potica.
